If you're not a big fan of Christmas pudding itself then why not try this recipe for a festive Christmas tipple? It packs all the flavour of a traditional Christmas pud and can be drunk either as a digestif or alternatively, mix with champagne for the perfect Christmas fizz!
50g Mixed Peel
50g Muscovado Sugar
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp mixed spice
Peel the orange with a vegetable peeler and place the peel with all the other ingredients in a saucepan. Stir well & cover with clingfilm. Leave in a warm place overnight. In the morning strain through a colander and decant back into a sterilised glass bottle.
